LangSmith allows Development Plan users to set total trace limits for their workspace to prevent exceeding desired usage thresholds.

To set your trace limit:

1. Navigate to your workspace settings

2. Click the "Manage usage limits" button

3. Set your desired "Total trace limit" for the workspace

Important notes:

• The base trace limit for Development Plan is 5,000 traces per month

• Once you reach your set limit, you will receive tracing errors and will not be able to create new traces
