Context

Included in our Plus and Startup plan subscriptions includes pricing "1 free Dev deployment with unlimited agent runs included." However, you may notice charges for agent runs appearing on your invoice even when you believe you only have a development environment set up.

Answer

If you're being charged for agent runs on what you believe is a development deployment, the issue is likely that your deployment is not properly configured as a Developer (free) deployment type.

To check and resolve this issue:

1. Log into LangSmith

2. Select the Deployments tab

3. Check if your development deployment is listed under the Developer (free) deployment type

If your deployment is not listed under the Developer (free) type, this explains why you're incurring charges. Unfortunately, to resolve this issue, the deployment would need to be re-created under the correct free deployment type.
