Context
Some organizations want to restrict their team members to only sign in using Google SSO, disabling other authentication methods like email/password login. This is often done for security compliance and to ensure all access goes through the organization's identity provider.
Answer
Currently, enforcing SSO-only authentication (disabling other sign-in methods) is not available in the Cloud version of LangSmith, even on the Plus plan which includes Google and GitHub SSO support.
This functionality is only available in the Enterprise self-hosted version, where you can:
Configure Google Workspace as your SSO identity provider
Disable basic authentication methods
Enforce that all users must authenticate through your Google SSO
If enforcing SSO-only authentication is a requirement for your organization, you would need to consider upgrading to the Enterprise self-hosted plan. Contact your account representative to discuss Enterprise options and pricing.
For organizations on the Plus plan, while you cannot disable other authentication methods, you can still encourage your team to use Google SSO for sign-in, which is available and supported.
